SAG-AFTRA actress/singer Rachel Menconi along with professional filmmaker Erik Olssen, are holding a film acting class in Northern NJ this summer.
CLASS NAME: The Indie Film Experience: Film Acting Class with Scene for Demo Reel
WHO: This is a class for any actor with some acting experience. Class limited to only 12 students.
WHERE: Classes held in Glen Rock NJ and film set in Montvale NJ.Both locations are easily accessible by mass transit. Glen Rock location via NJ Transit and Bergen Line. Montvale location via NJ Transit and Port Authority Bus Terminal.
WHEN: 6 Saturdays from 11 am - 2 pm. June 14th-August 2nd. No classes on July 5th and July 26th. Filming day times may be extended.

MEET YOUR TEACHERS:
RACHEL MENCONI: Main Teacher/Director/Writer
SAG-AFTRA, NATS (certified), NARAS (The Grammy Awards), VASTA, NAMTA, MAC, and BMI.
Rachel has been an acting and singing technique teacher to all ages for 12+ years. She is also an international recording artist (8+ years), songwriter (15+ years), scriptwriter (8+ years), and director (10+ years). Rachel has been professionally performing and training for 20+ years (TV, movies, Off-Broadway, Off-Off-Broadway, regional theater, magazine covers, featured articles, studio recordings, albums, music videos, etc) and has worked/performed with Emmy-Tony-Grammy Award Nominees/Winners.
Rachel’s students have gone on national/regional tours, released albums, are in bands, have been cast in regional/Off-Off- Broadway/Off-Broadway Theatre, music videos, movies (Noah, The Wolf Of Wall Street, Finally Famous), & on TV (Royal Pains, Smash, 30 Rock, The Good Wife, Law and Order: SVU, & NBC's The Voice competition).
ERIK OLSSEN: Main Editor/Director/Writer
BFA in TV/Film Production and Stella Adler Studio Of Acting (NYC)
Erik has been a professional filmmaker for 8+ years, editor for 18+ years, director for 8+ years, scriptwriter (6+ years), and an actor for 7+ years. He has filmed/edited 300+ projects including films, music videos, commercials, and live performances.
From TV to Film to Theatre, Erik has been seen in commercials, films, theater productions, and on TV. Some of the actors that he has been fortunate to work with are Leonardo DiCaprio, Russell Crowe, Alec Baldwin, Jonah Hill, Julianna Margulies, Brian Dennehy, Katharine McPhee, Bebe Neuwirth, Chris Rock, Raul Esparza, and Henry Winkler.
